Louise Ann Barton
Louise Ann Barton is a master storyteller from a family of Cherokee master storytellers, an author, and a lecturer. She has a MA in teaching Business Education, a minor in Law, and a Master Gardener's Certification.

Noted for both fiction and non-fiction, she prefers the horror genre. Her works include Web and newspaper articles, novels, short stories, flash fiction, award-winning poetry, children's stories, and plays, in addition to editing musical CD inserts.

After a lifetime as a New Yorker, she retired to the New Jersey Pine Barrens with her faithful feline companion.
Al Lohn
Al Lohn was born in 1934 on the outskirts of Cologne Germany and was educated in the art of apparel manufacturing. He worked until 1956 in his fathers business. In November 1956, he immigrated to the USA with his parents and younger brother. Drafted thirteen months later, he served in the US Army for two years stationed in Germany where he met his wife.

After his discharge from the Army, he became the manager of Brooks−Van Horn’s manufacturing department in Philadelphia, a Theatrical costume company serving the entertainment industry. During his ten year-tenure, he worked on many challenging projects such as ‘Holiday on Ice’, ‘Hello Dolly’, the Philadelphia Mummers, historical reproductions for the Marine Corps, the Smithsonian Institute and wax museums.

During his fifty-year career, he served as Corporate Senior Vice President for Liz Claiborne Inc and retired as Corporate Vice President from the Spiegel Group in 1998. His extensive travel during his 50 year career took him around the world to five continents. His travels gained him a deep understanding of the world’s cultures as well as its trials and tribulations. This, combined with his experience growing up in a war-torn country during World War II, and his military service, compelled him to turn to writing after his retirement.

He resides in New Jersey with his wife of fifty-nine years where they enjoy their children and three grandchildren. Now he writes and is the author of several books.
Steve Kahofer
Steve Kahofer served three years in the U.S. Army as a Signal Officer responsible for nuclear arms release codes. He returned to his home in New Jersey to earn his third black belt and a Masters in Economics.

He has worked at IEEE, HP, D&B, AP and other alphabet companies in Corporate America. He was born in New York City, and grew up in Texas.

Steve's newest novel
"Monopoly Games" is a character driven thriller drawn from his military and business experience with lots of romance and humor. He has written several travel articles, including some describing his climbing adventures in the Himalayas.
Karen Kelly Boyce
Karen Kelly Boyce lives on a farm in New Jersey with her retired husband. She has two grown children and two grandchildren. She has always had a love of reading and writing, and has written for Canticle and Soul magazines.

Her first three novels received the Seal of Approval from the Catholic Writer's Guild. "Down Right Good" received the 2012 Eric Hoffer award for commercial fiction and was a finalist for the Montaigne Medal.

When her grandchildren were born, Karen started a children's series. "The Sisters of the Last Straw" is a series of humorous mysteries that are solved by a group of misfit nuns. "The Case of the Stolen Rosaries" has been awarded third place for best Children's book by the Catholic Press Association.

She is currently working on future books while enjoying farming, camping, and road trips with her husband.
Nancy Condardo
Nancy Condardo is a music teacher at Manchester Twp Middle School. Beside running the choral music program and drama program she served 35 years as a church organist and Church music director. She has published articles in Weird New Jersey Magazine and written reviews of restuarants and theater for various newspapers.

Nancy has written several short stories and won the Philadelphia Writer's Convention Award for Science Fiction and Fantasy in 1994 judged by Michael Swanwick.

She is presently working on editing two completed novels.
JJ Lair
JJ Lair lives near the Nestle factory where the aroma of coffee keeps him working on blogs, short stories, "that novel" and making to-do lists. To start each morning right, he looks up Sally Forth, Pearls Before Swine, Drabble, Pickles, and Peanuts comics.

He contributes his knowledge and experience to multiple writer/critique groups and last year he was part of the Freehold Boro Arts Council.

JJ believes that to write well, one needs to read. He's a fan of Sophie Kinsella, Jeff Shaara, Joyce Carol Oates, and Elmore Leonard, and as one can tell from his blog, Mixtapeshistory.blogspot.com he reads musician bios about artists like Elvis Presley and Bruce Springsteen.
